【SUPER METBOY! #1】Game presentation & Prototype version screenshots!

Hello, everyone.

Today, we are presenting 「SUPER METBOY!」, which has been positively received and is currently available on Nintendo Switch and STEAM

In this #1 issue, asaba aki from REBUILD GAMES will introduce the game and share some screenshots from the stored prototype version!

SUPER METBOY!Game Introduction

This is a retro-like fixed-screen action game!
The game aims to make it fun to play due to its refreshing take on the action genre with casual controls and good old-fashioned score attack!

Up to 4 Players can co-op play online
CPU companions can join in on the fun during solo play!
(※STEAM-Switch crossplay is also supported)

You can collect diamonds during the game and use them to purchase custom chips to enhance METBOY's abilities. Even if you are not good at playing action games, the customer chips make attacking and defeating enemies easier. Collecting custom chips is also the game's reward.

Prototype Version!

Here are some screenshots of the stored Prototype(trial version).

The prototype version looked like this.

In the beginning, the color of METBOY was still to be determined, so it was presented as gray at that time. The character's scale was small and lacked appeal, so the character was adjusted to the current size. The position of the HP gauge, etc., was adjusted after the character's position was changed.

A few words from the developer

Lead game designer asaba aki

SUPER METBOY! is an easy-going game that aims to apply the concepts of the familiarity and simplicity of retro-like games and the fun of score attack to modern style. We hope you will enjoy the fun of score attack and experience the gratification of clearing an action game!

That's it for the【SUPER METBOY! #1】presentation.
